Kedarnath temple has a few important rules to follow in 2026. Online registration through the official Uttarakhand government portal is now mandatory, without it you simply won't get entry. Inside the main sanctum, mobiles and cameras are not allowed, so leave them outside at the token counter.



Decent traditional clothing is expected and alcohol or non-veg food is completely prohibited in the entire valley area. Darshan timings are 6 AM to 3 PM so plan your day accordingly and reach early to avoid long queues.
